Handing Over The Petitions At Town Hall

Some of the members of the organising committee and volunteers who collected signatures gathered at Town Hall on Monday, December 2nd to witness the handing over of the petitions to The Town Clerk.
The petitions are handed over the counter to Town Clerk Karen Jost under the watchful eyes of Elaine Nelson, Jean Mordo, Barbara Mordo, and Nancy Couperus. Twenty-five "books" each holding up to 52 signatures. Each book was witnessed and signed by the signature gatherer, and contained the text of the petition and all attachments.
